Office providers and brokers
If you're looking for an office or already have an office then you've probably come into contact with an office provider! Office providers do exactly what they say on the tin; they provide the office that you rent (or lease if you're looking for somewhere in America, such as a Manhattan executive suite!) This basically means they're your landlord and will deal with any problem you have relating to your office. Famous office providers include Avanta, Regus and Citibase. If you're not sure which office provider to use then you're best off using a broker such as Officebroker. Brokers list all the office providers and help you to secure a deal. They basically act as middle-man and, in turn, receive a cut of the deal from the providers. In a way they're more balanced than the providers themselves - this is because they get a cut of any deal so it doesn't matter to them which provider it is! If you do choose to use a broker though, be careful! They're very friendly and can sometimes get a little over-keen on the phone calls sometimes!
